As a New York City personal injury attorney, Mr. Brown handles a diverse range of cases including construction accidents, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and medical malpractice. He is involved in every stage of litigation from drafting the summons and complaint to the time of settlement or trial.
Recently, Mr. Brown served as a second chair to partner Ed Cooper on a jury trial that resulted in a historic $72.5M dollar verdict against the MTA.
Prior to joining Torgan Cooper + Aaron, Mr. Brown was an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the New York City Law Department. While working for the City, he honed his legal skills and served as lead counsel on several jury trials. Due to his success in the courtroom, he was recognized as the Law Department’s legal “Rookie of the Year” and received the Division Chief Award for outstanding performance.
Mr. Brown graduated cum lade from Ithaca College and earned his law degree from Brooklyn Law School. While in law school, he served on the Executive Board for the Moot Court Honor Society.
